# Owner

> Understand the owner role, what permissions the owner has in Spacebring, and how to transfer the owner role to another user

## Who is an owner

The owner of your app refers to the user responsible for managing the entire network and is a single point of contact in your organization regarding the subscription with Spacebring.

<Info>
  The owner's role is always restricted to one user.
</Info>

## What an owner can do

* Manage [payment and invoicing information](/administration/billing/make-changes-to-spacebring-subscription#update-your-payment-or-billing-information) for subscription to Spacebring.
* [Customize the member web portal](/member-web-portal/customize-member-web-portal) and [mobile app](/member-mobile-app/customize-member-mobile-app) (their appearance, description, logo, [privacy policy](/privacy-policy), [terms of use](/terms-of-use), etc.).
* Manage [network language](/manage-language-settings).
* Manage the [visibility of your member web portal's landing page](/member-web-portal/customize-the-landing-page) in search engines.
* [Add and delete locations](/administration/locations).
* Manage [**Chats**](/engagement/chats).
* Connect network-level integrations ([Google Analytics](/integrations/analytics/google-analytics), [Twilio](/integrations/communication/twilio), [Meta Pixel](/integrations/analytics/meta-pixel)).
* Add abusive users to the [blacklist.](/users)

The owner can manage the network and subscription by opening Spacebring > pressing the the network name > choosing **Network settings** page.

## Transfer the owner role

Only the owner themselves can manage their role and reassign it to someone else. To delegate the owner role to another person, do the following:

1. Log in as an owner to Spacebring and press the network name > **Network settings** > **Administrators** page.
2. Select a new owner in the "Owner" section.

3. Confirm your choice.

The **Administrators** page also displays a comprehensive list of all administrators across all your locations.

<Tip>
  Consider making an actual person the owner, not a general team inbox (e.g., [team@coworking.com](mailto:team@coworking.com)). The owner's role allows for making changes and accessing your billing, so it is a good practice to encourage personal accountability.
