# Odoo Accounting
> Connect Odoo Accounting to automatically sync issued invoices and credit notes from Spacebring, understand the key prerequisites for successful synchronization, and how the integration works
Seamlessly sync issued invoices and credit notes from Spacebring to Odoo Accounting to cut manual accounting work. They land as drafts, ready for you to review and post.

## Prerequisites
1. Have your Odoo instance ready, with a user login and an API key created in that user's account security settings.
2. Make sure the **Accounting** app is enabled in your Odoo instance, since that's what Spacebring syncs invoices and credit notes into.
3. If your Odoo instance is on Odoo Online, ensure you're on the Custom plan. It's required for API access.
## Connect the Odoo integration
1. Click the menu **(...)** next to the location's name > go to **Integrations**.
2. Open the **Odoo** integration page and click **Connect**.
3. Enter your Odoo instance **URL** (must start with `https://`, for example `https://mycompany.odoo.com`), **Database**, **Login**, and **API key**, then click **Connect**.
4. Select an Odoo **Sale journal** where Spacebring should create invoices and credit notes.
The connection stays incomplete until you select a **Sale journal**. Invoices and credit notes don't sync until you do.
## How Odoo integration works
Once connected, Spacebring automatically syncs issued invoices and credit notes for unpaid invoices to Odoo as drafts, in real time.
Spacebring only creates draft invoices and credit notes in Odoo. It doesn't post them or mark them as paid, even after the invoice is paid in Spacebring. You must post each draft and register its payment in Odoo yourself, including any e-invoicing that runs on posting.
Voiding an invoice in Spacebring doesn't sync to Odoo — the synced invoice stays in draft. To correct an invoice, issue a [credit note](/docs/billing/invoices/credit-notes) in Spacebring, which will sync to Odoo and link to that invoice.
### How invoices sync
Invoices sync to the **Sale journal** you selected when connecting. The integration maps Spacebring invoice data to Odoo as follows:

### How credit notes sync
Spacebring syncs credit notes issued in Spacebring for unpaid invoices to Odoo as draft credit notes, with their items, quantities, and prices. Each draft credit note links to the original invoice in Odoo.
Applied balance, partial payments, credit notes for paid invoices, and refunds don't sync to Odoo.
## Disconnect the Odoo integration
1. Click the menu **(...)** next to the location's name > go to **Integrations**.
2. Select **Odoo** > press **Disconnect** and confirm your choice.
