A QR bill is an invoice with a payment part and receipt designed for compliance with local requirements while simplifying the manual payment process. The embedded QR code contains all necessary payment information — such as the recipient’s account, reference number, and amount—allowing customers to pay invoices faster and safer through online banking or mobile apps.Documentation Index

Add QR code to invoices
To add QR code to invoices, follow these steps:- Go to Location settings > General page > “Billing details” tab.
- Fill in the Legal business name (if you haven’t already).
- Enter your IBAN / QR-IBAN in the “Account” field.

Spacebring supports QR bill for invoices and proforma invoices as well.
How users pay a QR bill
For customers who prefer to pay manually instead of using being auto-charged, the QR code offers a convenient and faster way to complete the payment. Users can follow these steps:- Open their bank’s mobile app or online banking platform.
- Select the option to scan or pay a QR bill.
- Use their phone to scan the QR code on the invoice.
- Verify that the payment details, such as amount and recipient, are correct.
- Confirm the payment. Depending on the bank, users may need to approve the transaction via your banking app.
Payment made using the QR code is processed externally, so the invoice status is not automatically marked as paid. Administrators can record external invoice payments and add an internal note to indicate the source of payment for proper record-keeping.
