Neighbors & Nomads launched with Spacebring. As the business grew to two locations, the challenge was to keep the member experience seamless for both returning members and first-time visitors while giving the team one simple way to manage both spaces.

The challenge: keeping operations simple as the community grew

Neighbors & Nomads serves a broad mix of people, from local professionals and entrepreneurs to remote workers, digital nomads, and travellers passing through El Nido. Some walk in for a day pass. Others become regular members and use the space for desks, meetings, events, and community. That mix is central to the brand, but it also adds operational complexity, especially across two locations.

The team needed one system for memberships, bookings, payments, events, and cross-location access. Just as importantly, they needed to preserve the personal welcome that defines the brand. The goal was a smooth journey for both new visitors and regular members, without losing flexibility.

From day one, we wanted the experience to feel effortless. We wanted people to be able to discover what’s happening, book a workspace or meeting room, connect with other members and manage everything in one place. Just as importantly, we wanted technology to support hospitality rather than replace it.

The solution: one platform for members, staff, and both locations

From launch, Spacebring gave Neighbors & Nomads one connected setup for bookings, memberships, events, and day-to-day operations. As the business expanded to two locations, the team kept the same hospitality-first experience while managing both spaces through one system rather than separate tools and processes.

1. Making payments and recurring billing easier

Because of the mix of customer types, many day pass guests still prefer to walk in and pay at the front desk, especially on their first visit. That personal welcome matters to the team. Once guests know they will return, app adoption naturally follows.

  • Native Maya integration. Maya gives members and guests in the Philippines a payment method they already know and trust. Spacebring built a native Maya integration specifically for Neighbors & Nomads, helping the team offer a more familiar digital payment experience without adding daily operational complexity.
  • Automated billing and access. The team now relies on Spacebring to automate 120+ recurring member subscriptions, issuing invoices and granting day passes or credits without manual staff intervention. It also automates secure Wi-Fi access through IronWiFi, ensuring that only members and guests with a valid booking or subscription can get online while reducing front-desk admin.

2. Keeping one community connected across 2 locations

Community is central to Neighbors & Nomads. The team uses its branded app powered by Spacebring to keep members connected across both locations and aware of what is happening in each space.

  • Cross-location visibility. Through the Neighbors & Nomads app powered by Spacebring, members can follow updates, events, and activity across both locations, no matter where they are working.
  • Event discovery and registration in one flow. Neighbors & Nomads promotes community events on its website and directs people to its Spacebring-hosted event calendar. There, attendees can view upcoming events and register in one place. This keeps event information and sign-ups centralized and has supported 150+ event attendees registered through Spacebring.

3. Giving members more flexibility while reducing admin

When Neighbors & Nomads expanded to a second location, member flexibility became a bigger operational need. The team needed people to move between spaces, use their benefits, and book what they needed without extra admin or confusing location-specific rules.

Members at Neighbors & Nomads regularly move between the two locations depending on where they are working that day or where they have meetings.

Our members regularly move between our two locations depending on where they’re working that day or where they have meetings. Having one membership across both spaces gives them the flexibility to choose the environment that best suits their work.

  • Flexible cross-location access. Because Neighbors & Nomads already ran its member experience through Spacebring, the team could extend one connected experience across both locations as the business grew. Members can choose the space that best suits their day and use their benefits across both sites without creating extra friction for staff.
  • Self-service resource bookings. Members use their included meeting room credits to host client catch-ups or video calls, driving more than 5,000 resource bookings through the platform and reducing manual calendar coordination for the team.

Taken together, these workflows give Neighbors & Nomads one member-facing experience and one operational setup across both locations. For a coworking business serving locals, remote workers, and travelers in El Nido, that means the team can keep hospitality personal while managing memberships, bookings, events, payments, and member access through one connected system.

Spacebring has also enabled us to operate two coworking locations through a single member platform, allowing one connected community to seamlessly book spaces, attend events and use their membership benefits across both sites without any additional complexity.
